Maggie'sTanjoobi

Because all the other girls had their tanjoobis in the time we were here, we celebrated my "uso tanjoobi" (fake birthday)!  The girls made dinnerthen we went to Otsu and did purikuda-we love our purikuda!  Then we went and spent an hour and a half doing karaoke!!  it was an awesome time!:)

Final Projects

Lucky for me the same weekend of my Birthday was our project presentations-where everyone here at JCMU had to give about a 5 minute speech!  YEA!:) [that is supposed to be sarcasm]

Molly was the first to give her speech on her Homestay, she almost started crying-but her family came and watched her give her speech!  Next was Lindsay, she spoke on the differences between Japanese and American grade schools, her family also came.  The went Allie, she spoke on her Weekend homestay.  Then about an hour and a half frickin' later-I went.  [it was a long day] I spoke on the 100 yen store-it was a very serious speech-really!:)

After the hours and hours and hours of speeches were over-we all went to CoCo's and ate lunch.  We took a picture with our favorite waitress too [see below].  We always ask for 2 cups of sauce with our deserts (very not good in Japan), but she just laughs with us and bring it to us.  She is awsome!:)
