| For those who wish to learn Centering Prayer, an Introductory Workshop is highly recommended as the way to begin. Introductory presenters are trained by Contemplative Outreach to teach the method simply and thoroughly and provide follow-up to nurture participants as they continue on the contemplative path. New workshops are scheduled from time to time as the need arises. Be sure to check the schedule on a regular basis if you or someone you know is interested in learning this ancient prayer practice. | Centering Prayer Introductory Workshops Christ the King Church Introductory Workshop Saturday, November 7, 2009 9:00 am - 2:00 pm This workshop will be presented by trained presenters of the Centering Prayer method representing Contemplative Outreach, Ltd., a network of faith communities. Catholic in origin, ecumenical in scope, committed to renewing the contemplative dimension of the Gospel in everyday life. There will be a six-week follow-up for those interested in continuing to learn and practice Centering Prayer. It will be held in Room 204-5 Mary Martha House, 821 South Dale Mabry, Tampa, Fl. 33608. Please bring your own lunch - drinks will be provided. Fee is: $20 per person, and make checks payable to "C.O. of Tampa Bay."
