An unusual image indeed, the copyrighted work of photographer Philippe Stroobandt of Brussels, Belgium. It was a 'Photo of the Day' winner in July 2001 on the DigitalPhotoContest site ~ select 'Philippe Stroobandt' from the list of photographers and you can see his small DPC archive including the original of this Sony Cybershot image. I learn that Philippe has his own extensive website here where more of his images can be seen along with links to a great many pages of his images on Webshots.
