CARE GIVERS FROM THE HEART As we move past the pain, frustration and anger, an air of acceptance and understanding settles in our hearts. It is not about us, the care giver, but perchance, about them, in a supporting way. We watch our loved one (in my case, my mother) make the final journey. I find it rewarding to be there for her, hold her hand, and make her as comfortable as possible, and even though it is sometimes a burden, it is also a blessing.
