These sympathies are most strongly expressed at the shrines dedicated to her. This page is about these places, which are found all around the world. Here you can find information on the history of these sites, read on the specific cults and see the sacred images. Currently you can visit pages on the shrines of Alsemberg (Belgium), Altoetting (Germany), Czestochowa (Poland), Einsiedeln (Switserland), Luxembourg, Maria Taferl & Mariazell (Austria), and Vilnius (Lithuania). Special attention will be payed to the shrines of the Blessed Virgin in Belgium and The Netherlands. The basilica's of for instance Mechelen and Maastricht are not widely known outside the Western European region.
