This picture is a rip-off of a Norman Rockwell illustration. It was done in 1998. I got a 99% on this, which was VERY hard to do with the particular teacher I was taking at the time. It is modified a bit though. This picture was supposed to be made into an April Fool's picture, containing hidden and wierd things that were different from the original painting. One difference is he has too many fingers on his left hand. Another is, there is a paintbrush hidden in his art chair. His butt is showing... etc.

Supplies used: Acrylic paints, color pencils, watercolor, black ink, and cold press illustration board.
Time: approx. 3 hours
