Marilyn Astle's Family History
								My grandfathers, John (Jack) Andrew Astles and Barry Franklin Galbraith, both homesteaded near Sangudo, Alberta, Canada in the second decade of the 20th century. Jack came west from Newcastle, New Brunswick. Barry emigrated from the west of England. In 1919 both sets of grandparents were married. Jack married Margaret May Christiansen from Saint John, New Brunswick. Barry married Annie Lucy (Nan) Whitehead from London, England.
