STH Rocketry Team |
MISSION: The St. Thomas Rocketry Team was established by Dr. Ed Marintsch in 2002 in order to promote the sport of Model Rocketry while encouraging young men to pursue careers in the sciences. Participation in the team primarily involves the Design, Construction, and Launching of rockets in conjunction with the competetive rules of the Team America Rocketry Challenge, an annual nationwide event sponsored by the Aerospace Industries Association and the National Association of Rocketry. |

TEAM MEMBERS, PLEASE NOTE: As mentioned at the first meeting of the year, in order to be eligible for any cash (Savings Bonds) prizes for winning or placing in the National Competition, each member must either attend more than 70% of all team functions or participate in at least 70% of the total hours spent at all team functions. Meetings usually count for one hour each while events such as rocket launches can count for several hours. To see how you stand, check the Rocketry Bulletin Board. |
