BACKGROUND
MarioMan Pictures Corporation was founded in 1998 by its current owner Mario Lefiti, Chairman of the Board.  In 2001, Mario Lefiti became partners with Jose Lopez, who became co-owner of the company and currently producer and President of the Company.  The studios are located in the film and television capital of the world, Los Angeles, California.  Originally, the MarioMan Studios were located in San Diego, California and as the company grew bigger, its owners decided to move to L.A. The company still has a branch location in San Diego, which is where Mr. Lefiti and Mr. Lopez mostly work.
HISTORY
When Mario Lefiti was a freshman in high school, his dream was to be a stand-up comidian and at the same time an actor, director, writer, producer, and owner of a movie studio.
On the chilly morning of September 11, 1998, Mario made up his mind to start making movies.  Soon enough he had gathered with his friends and begin filming with his amature camcorder.  His first film was The MarioMan Movie.  This film was a great achievement for Mario.  Praised by many, this film gave Mario the opportunity to his first nomination for a Class Clown Award. Unfortunately, Mario did not receive the Award since it was stolen prior to the award ceremony.
In 2000, Mario met Jose Lopez during a Physics class.  They became friends and decided to team-up to create the greatest movie ever made: The MarioMan Movie Part 2!!  This film, became an even bigger hit than the original chapter.
Realizing that the MarioMan series was very popular and accepted by millions, Mario and Jose decided to officially establish a company which, of course, was named MarioMan Pictures.  In the summer of 2001, Mario and Jose begin working on a third installment for the MarioMan series.  After months of hard work, in the Summer of 2002, The MarioMan Movie: Part 3 was released schoolwise!!

THE BUILDING
The building is made of concrete and steel like any other building.  This building was orginally constructed to serve as AT&T's local office in 1990.  In 1998,  AT&T moved out and put the building on sale.  Mario was casually reading the newspaper when he discovered the ad.  He immediately jumped out of his eat, grabbed the phone, and called.  He bought the building for 66.5 million Mexican Pesos.  The building has gone through a lot of renovation and repair since them. In December of 98, a fire on the 16th floor killed 7 office workers.  In January of 99, the fifth floor collapsed killing all 24 occupant workers of the floors.  Amazingly, none of the 27 workers on the lower floor were hurt.  In February of the same year, a failure in the electrical system let to the electrocution of 2 actors who were visiting for auditions. The following year, 2000, at exactly 12AM of January first, the whole building's power went out due to the Y2K problem; all employee's lost their salary for 4 months due to payroll corruption.  None of them received their missing paychecks due to lost of records.  In 2001, a terrorist attack shook the building.  A bomb on the basement went off provoking the whole building to collapse.  Everyone in the building died a terrying, slow death.   The building was soon reconstructed to its original state to prove that no one can stop our dreams.  The picture to the left shows the building after re-construction.
