This didn’t begin as a fanfic, but as a projection of myself in three or four years time. The background, the chosen career, the anecdotes, are all part of my own life story. More than anything else I have written, this story is a reflection of my personality, my hopes and my dreams – both attainable and fantastic. For this reason, feedback is welcome as always, but please spare any criticism of ‘Kelly’ that may seem appropriate!
