J-Rock's Review:
of 5 skulls - gore and boobies

Well, after watching three friggin' zombie movies in a row, I thought I could use a change, so I threw in this flick...and it was basically another zombie flick, just without the zombies.

But at least there are some boobies.

Anyway, this one is about some "Americans" (poorly portrayed by some more Italians) who travel to the Amazon rain forest to find out if cannibalism really exists. The lucky travelers are a scientist, her brother, and their horny friend Pat, who starts out the movie by having sex with the greasy South American sheriff.

They travel down the river, and then meet up with some other "Americans", who were in the rain forest prospecting for emeralds. Don't ask. Needless to say, Pat has sex with Mike Logan, one of these new guys.

So they come upon the villagers, and the villagers just stare at the white folks. Let's jump ahead an hour, because I wish I had - Mike confesses that the locals are scared because he killed one of them when they wouldn't tell him where the emeralds were. This of course leads to Mike's capture and torture at the hands of the natives - it's pretty gruesome, but funny in a sick way - you've got to see it, but if you can't find this movie anywhere, email me and I'll give you the play-by-play.

Moving on...Pat gets whacked later on in another creatively macabre manner (email me for details). The only one who survives is the scientist chick, who goes back to NYC and gets her doctorate by writing that cannibalism doesn't exist, yada yada yada.

Shit-fest, but enjoyable for the cheesy killing scenes and the boobies!

If you do find this, you'll see that the box proclaims that this movie is so gruesome and graphic, and was banned in 31 countries, and the surprising thing is that it actually was banned in Norway and in the province of Ontario. But Canada isn't a real country anyway.
