Rob-Dogg's Review:
of 5 skulls

Mother's Day is BAD, but not bad enough to deserve four or five skulls. The movie does have a few classic scenes that make it worth watching. Watch for the scene where the blood is on the inside of the car before the guy's head is chopped off. Then when the psycho gets a hatchet in the crotch you really appreciate what you've got down there. The all-time classic scene in this movie, though, is when the killer falls down a hill horribly fakely; he keeps jumping and stopping, then has to throw himself farther down.

Just a production note: the writers and producers of this movie, Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz, went on to found Troma Films, who made the classic schlock flicks "The Toxic Avenger" and "Class of Nuke Em High".
