The Unnamable

Ooo, that monster sure is scary! NOT!

1988, distributed by Vidmark Entertainment

Starring: Charles King as Howard, Mark Stephenson as Randolph, Alexandra Durrell as Tanya, and Laura Albert as Wendy. Bunch of Oscar winners they got in this one!

J-Rock's Review:
of 5 skulls

The only reason this movie recieved any skullage at all is because it had one scene with semi-decent nudity. A guy and a girl are fooling around in the supposedly "haunted" house and you see her ample chest.

That's it, though. The entire rest of the movie is horrible. Our buddy Lobb-Jiggity picked out this movie at Blockbuster, because he had seen it before, and he said it was pretty scary. He failed to mention that he saw it when he was 13! At that age, kisses from Uncle Louis and Aunt Bethany are scary, too!

Want to know what else we did to occupy ourselves while "The Unnamable" was playing?
  • Made chicken nuggets
  • Played "Duke Nukem"
  • Made out (not with each other, you sickos, with girls)
  • Drank
  • Slept
That's how boring this movie was.

It's based on a story by H.P. Lovecraft, who tends to be very dialogue-based and tedious. In other words, he sucks.

Somehow, the studio found enough money to make a sequel. When we find it, I'll review it for you.
