                      No-Cook Oriental Noodle Salad

   2      Tbsp          Sesame seeds -- toasted
   1      pkg           Ramen Noodles -- uncooked
   2      oz            almond slivers (optional)
   3      c             Napa cabbage -- shredded
   2                    green onions -- sliced
   1      small can     mandarin oranges
   3      T             sugar
     1/3  c             olive oil
   3      Tbsp          white wine vinegar
     1/4  c             juice from mandarin oranges and water
                        salt & pepper to taste
Break up Ramen noodles into a medium size bowl.  Combine noodle 
seasoning, sugar, olive oil, wine vinegar,  mandarin orange juice/water, 
salt & pepper.  Pour over broken noodles.  Set aside for 1/2 hour to 
allow noodles to absorb liquid.  Add cabbage, onions and oranges.  
Refrigerate for several hours.
