I like LA, I really do. It gets a bad rap from us northern Californians, but I'd certainly pick it over many US cities to live in. The climate is unbeatable, and the outdoor activities are endless. We did a 4 day weekend in August and were shameless tourists for lots of it, visiting the Santa Monica beachfront, Disneyland, Universal Studios, and taking in an Angels game (vs. the Red Sox, which was the inspiration for the trip of course). We did fit in a hike in the hills above Brentwood the last morning though. |
