From the quiet intimacy of a bend in a boulder-strewn stream to the grand summit of a glaciated peak, I draw inspiration from treks taken all over.
Unless otherwise noted, the work you see here is created using soft pastels on various papers. I also paint with oil pastels and Windsor Newton alkyd paint, an epoxy-based medium much like oil. Some charcoal, graphite and colored pencil work round out the remaining pieces.
