Hello.

I'm a programmer/analyst living on Long Island for the past thirty-five years. I’ve been coding in COBOL for almost twenty years, and it's been a mostly decent career. I work on a mainframe computer, and code in COBOL, CICS, VSAM, SQL, and MVS/JCL.

Alright, I'll admit it's not as sexy as Java, Visual Basic, or C++, but hey, it gets the job done, and it's payin' the bills.

I’ve started this page mainly for the fun of it, and to get in a little HTML practice --- putting this page together wasn’t too hard, either --- I built a simple template using Coffee Cup editor, copied the resulting HTML code, fleshed it out a bit using Windows Notepad and Crimson Editor 3.4 (nothing fancy here!) and from there it just grew.

Anyway, this page is for some useful links, some sample code, and maybe a laugh or two. Who knows, maybe this Internet thing might turn out to be pretty useful.
