Wahoo! United are in the worthington cup final vs Liverpool after beating Blackburn 3-1 on aggregate in the semi. It's still a Mickey Mouse cup but it should be a good final with 2 big clubs and another Lancashire derby.
Glen Matlock, the ex Sex Pistols Bassist came to the North Bar in Blackburn to play an exclusive solo accoustic set. It was great, he played some of his own songs, some of the sex pistols stuff, some other stuff and a tribute to Joe Strummer. I'll write a review soon.

My Birthday was on March 5TH so I descended on Southport to celebrate along with Triss, Ollie, Buch, Daisy, Sami and Russell. People kept buying me drinks so my tongue wen't numb and I lost the power to walk in a straight line. I dropped someone off the stage at Infinity which as you can imagine didn't sit well with her. The next day I had the second worst hangover of my life since Wookie threw the greatest party of all time 2 years earlier.
Summer started as well as it could with United winning the League, though the Champions league would have been nice.
We finished our A Levels in late June then on July 6TH - July 21ST 10 of us from High School and College flew to Kavos. Me, Buch, Ollie, Gandi, Hitler, Jesus, Jen, Charis, Lindsey and Emma had saved for this for a year. So I was none too pleased to contract a virus and have a permanently bad head due to low blood pressure. When my temperature reached 40, I couldn't eat and had a canon style cough. I had to spend 2 days and nights in a Greek Hospital on a drip- which I was even less pleased about. Still Aqualand, plenty of Crocage and Dj Sonique live @ Sandstorm made it worthwhile, not forgetting the all you can eat Chinese and Indian. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
5 days after this Holiday I flew out for 2 weeks in Hisaronu, Turkey still on Medication and unable to touch alcohol :`(. Me, Triss, Cal, Alex, Matt and Fish got ourselves preserved in Turkish beer, well worth doing! If you drink enough, you cant taste it anymore!
About a week after this I set off to the 2003 Leeds Festival to see Metallica. All I can say F*****g Awesome! Another gig I promise to review 'soon'. The Darkness were almost equally Brilliant, Turbonegro were fantastic as were Placebo, The Mars Volta and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Blur were mildly dissapointing but Damon Albarn has done really well to take up the guitar like he has. The Thrills were OK but aren't really my thing. Cave In were absolutely attrocious! Due to avoididng Sum- 41 they would have been worst act if I hadn't seen Junior Senior who made me think twice about my assumption that Blue were the worst band ever.
On Saturday 25TH September The Dio Message Board held its First gig. The WE ROCK LIVE EVENT
@ Victoria Hall Keighly. Warlord, the owner of the Board agreed to let Wasted Earth (Russells Band) open the show for Diavolo (a solid Thrash Band with a sound similar to recent Anthrax), HoneyToad (Keighlys biggest Band) and Bloodstream (a classic Maiden esque Metal outfit). I promised Russell and Lizz I'd write a full Wasted Earth Review so here it is!
Now into September I have just started my Degree @ Edge Hill.
I haven't been on here for a while and despite my best efforts this site still looks like a 6 year old drew it in art class, or maybee thats unfair on 6 year olds.........
Im quite impressed that its had 590 visitors! Why would that many people want to read about me and look at my old holiday photos? Mel joined my old message board the other day which reminded me this place exists and I couldn't believe how many visitors its had considering it isnt in any search engines and only the people in the pictures would actually want to see them.
The message Board on here used to be really good, especially after Adagio died but it died last summer and no one could be bothered getting it going again. Maybee someone should?
Anyways, over winter I've been really busy on my Nursing course. Ive been to the NEC bike show last November, Ive been to Hel Is For Heroes, Amen and MyRuin gigs and bought a mini moto (miniature racing motorcycle) and signed up to race it in the British Minimoto Championships. Im also going to see Anthrax, Fear Factory, Leeds Festival and Motorhead this summer.
Coffee day is only a month away on the 2nd saturday of July so I cant wait to get drunk in the streets in Croston again for old times sake. It'll be like being back in high school except no work!
Also importing Efes for coffee day from Turkey should make up for not going on holiday this year.
And Man Utd winning the FA Cup made up for dropping our Trophy to Arsenal.
