Banging The Head.

I like METARRLL! If it makes your ears bleed, I like it. Having said that, I also like the softer, more melodic metal.

Lacuna Coil (from Italy) Gothic, sexy female vocals...I wanna score with Cristina Scabbia :-D
Chalice (Australian) And I thought Opera was for old people
My Dying Bride (UK?) Kill Me Please. Perfect to kill a party, literally.
Tourettes (Aus) Scary but strangely likable. Oh, and thats a female vocalist.
Fear Factory (US)
Corrosion Of Conformity (US redneck metal)
God, or should I say Ozzy Osbourne/Black Sabbath (UK/US)
Iron Maiden (UK)
A Perfect Circle (US) The most brilliant live show I've ever seen!
Metallica (US) Even if they are a bunch of arrogant stuck up pricks, I like some of their music
COG (Australia)
Nightwish (Europe somewhere) Have some damn nice softy metal, no screaming here, just purely beautiful sound
Faith No More (US)
The Butterfly Effect (Australia) Damn good album, even better live
Nine Inch Nails (US)
King Crimson (UK?) Not metal but damn inspirational and a wee bit odd
Dreamtheatre (US?) Ooh yeah, they sure know how to use their instruments
Tool (US) Only trouble is no matter what I'm doing I fall asleep when listening to Lateralis. Undertow is THE album
Down (US) Ever wanted to die? This stuff will get you down...if you allow it to. A current Led Zeppelin

Arch Enemy (Germany/Austria?) Another band with female vocals...5' something, blonde, and purrs like a cat. Caterpillar bulldozer that is.
Blind Guardian (Sweden or Germany?) Top class opea-ish metal, even did a full metal opera, and damn its good
Opeth (Sweden) What Can I say...
Deftones (US) grind/hard core, and its surprisingly listenable
The Gathering (Some Euro country) Gentle and melodic, most of the time
Kittie (who cares) Can suck my balls. Don't bother with them. Anybody want talent? Don't look here.
Kaddennza (Japan) Only heard one song so far, but I like
Dark Tranquility (Euro somewhere?) must hear 'Monochromatic Stains' Damn I like that song

A a whole shload more, but as if you want to hear anymore of my rants.
