The Gate

This layout was designed to fit an old wooden gate that happened to be in my backyard. The size is 600mm by 1425mm. Drawn using Atlas HO code 83 track for On30 or HO use.

Using short wheelbase British/Australian rollingstock and 0-4-0 tank locomotives, this layout has enough sidings for an 'Inglenook' style shunting puzzle, plus a few extra industrial locations too. It isn't particularly realistic, there is far too much track for the area involved, but it could provide an evening or two's entertainment laying out the track and seeing if it will actually work.
