My most memorable autograph I have received in the past 6 years since I've started collecting has to be my autograph from actor Billy Van. He is a famous Canadian actor most noted for playing the majority of the roles in the classic 1970's kids tv show "The Hilarious House of Frightenstein". For those of you who remember, the show took place in a haunted castle located in Transylvannia. Actor Billy Van played most of the roles such as "The Count", "Grizelda", and "The Wolfman". The narration in between skits was done by actor Vincent Price.
Back in 1998, I had found on the internet the company actor Billy Van worked for and so I looked up the number in the phone book and called. Unfortunately, when I called the receptionist said the he no longer worked there, but said she would be willing to take down my name and number and that she would try to pass it on to him. Much to my surprise, two hours later the phone rang and it was a personal phone call from Billy Van, himself. I got to talk to him and he was very nice to send me a personally signed photo.
