$$$ GOOD GOALS GET GOLD $$$
Setting goals is an important part of becoming wealthy. Not only do setting goals give you a sense of accompishment, but they give you guidance. Now go get a sheet of paper and write down your goals, no matter how big or small. Also write down when you want to achieve these goals by. Then when you meet your goals, cross them off. Keep your "goal sheet" handy so you can look at it once in a while.

If you haven't written down your goals yet and when you want to achieve them by, please forgive me for not being more convincing, it's 6:00am in the morning! (as of this writing)

Why do you want to write your goals down?

Remember in school, how the teachers used to tell you when to finish an assignment by? And then she/he would check to see whether or not you finished them? Then you would get a passing or failing grade? Well! Writing down your goals is the same thing! They keep you on track! Writing down your goals is like having somebody/something remind you of what you have to do, and when! And for your grade? Accomplishing or achieving your goal! That's an A +!

Flexibility is the key to achieving your goals...

Things won't go your way all the time. Some of your goals may change of your time, and some of them may be slightly different. Be flexible in your goal settings and dates (not too flexible, you don't want to slack off!). Not everything can be exact. Give yourself a rough from-to date to complete your goal.
E.g. I will lose 10 pounds of fat from January 5th to February 5th.
Be specific about your goals but don't worry if they're not exact.
E.g. I lost 9 and 1/2 pounds by February 5th (not exact but pretty good, an A-)
Try not to spread yourself too thin. Don't take on too many different goals all at once.
E.g. I will fly to the moon by thursday, finish a book by friday, and win a gold medal by saturday.
Of course, don't be afraid to write down anything to wild. Try and think outside the box, but be realistic. You can't make your goal, "To take over the world!"

What goals should I write down?

Write down anything! Being happy is about more than just money. Though it's a big part of life, it isn't life itself. But if you still don't know what to goals to write down, here are is a suggestion:
a) Save up XXXXX dollars
b) Discuss my business idea with my wife/husband
c) Write a business plan

A good goal to write down is how much money you want to earn a year or to have a total sum of.

Here is what I write down:
Have a net worth of $250 million, by age 35-40

That is a lot of money but it's not impossible. For you, it could be different. It could be...
Earn $200,000 a year after taxes, by age 50 (or date, any is fine).
