:o Living Below Your Means :o Activity
This activity won't be really quick. It will take at least a week to do. It's not hard, it's pretty easy, but it's fun. This will help you get a perspective of how much you really spend. It'll help expose rickets in your spending habits. Here's what to do...

First of all you'll need a piece of paper.
Take a pen or pencil and draw 6 horizontal lines across the paper.
In each rectangular box write the day of the week, either on the far right hand side, or the far left hand side.
Write down every single thing you spend your money on for each day.
Write down what it was and how much it cost.
When you're done take a look at what you spend your money on.
And then start cutting out the inessentials.
As you will see, you will notice many little things that you can forego to save money.
This could include, a cup of coffee everyday, which cost $1. Which totals $365 a year. That's a lot of money when you think about it! These seemingly mundane items can cost you a lot over the long run.

Now wasn't that fun?
:P
