| Jan 11, 2002 Finally an update! It's almost ready! I finally got all the decals and put them on. Two weekends ago I sprayed the clear on it. Now comes the fun part...Antennas, details, all the stuff that starts making it look good! I'm satisfied with the outcome so far. I may take it to the AMA Convention in Pasadena next weekend, so we'll see if others like it, too! More pics to follow.... |

| January 27, 2002 It's done! I took it to the airport last Friday where the big guy lives and got a few pics of them together. Commander Chuck Street was excited to see a small version of his helicopter. He offered me a ride in it, so of course I accepted! From there I took it to the AMA convention in Pasadena where I won first place in scale! $300 prize! I have to set the pitch curve and hook up the t/r linkage and it'll be ready to fly. Hopefully next weekend. Pics to follow! |
| Jan. 31, 2002 First Flight! It flies great! I love the sound and no smoke! Still tweaking the pitch and throttle curves, but so far I'm impressed with it's flight characteristics! |
