| The model 266 Gyrocopters is almost 36" in diameter and has 266 square inches of wing surface area. This is a very large, yet graceful Gyrocopter. It works well in a moderate breeze and in no wind at all. This unit is not for beginners. It takes a strong arm to throw and courage to catch. While the performance is top notch, the durability may not be. This unit is not made of the high quality basswood, that the smaller gyrocopters are. It is made of aged ponderosa pine, is light weight and stiff, but lacks the impact resistance of the basswood. It is fine for normal use, by an experienced thrower. Never the less I love throwing this model. It really performs and it never fails to get attention on the field. A real joy! |
