Week 2

The SBEC standards seem to want more specifics on the stuff that teachers may not need to know. Stuff like operating system, networking components are things that teacher just really need to know that they are there. The NETS standards seem to be more driven towards the meaningful use of the computer in the classroom. Both sets of standards cover pretty much the same things. They both discuss acquiring electronic information. They both cover items like incorporating technology into the teacher’s lessons and their professional development.
