| Most of the photos on this website that were taken after Febuary 2001 also have video images. Redeker Rail Videos are my amateur rail videos that I shoot while out railfaning. These tapes are made up mainly of action shots out on the mainline with very little yard or roster shots. If you enjoy the photos on this site you will love the video tapes; great sound and crisp clean footage. The tapes have subtitles that give the location of the scene, Railroad and District, and train ID when known. There is no narration. I do all of the editing myself to try and keep the prices as low as possible. A final master tape is then sent away to a duplicating service to give you the best available quality. The selections are also available on DVD!! This is new for RRV, and is really exciting. Please make sure that your DVD player is compatable with the DVD-R format, which pretty much all DVD Players are. I am looking forward to the response of my customers to the addition of DVD. Another first for 2003 is the acceptance of Credit Cards using "PAYPAL". If you like watching train after train with out being interupted then I think you will really enjoy these tapes and think that they are a great value. | TAPE 1: BEST OF THE BEST 2001 If you like a lot of variety then this is the tape for you. It starts in Febuary and goes all the way to December 1st. All of my best footage in this time span will be included. Railroads and paint schemes include: Illinois Central, CN, BNSF, UP, KCS, SP, CNW, CSX, Santa Fe, Arkansas & Missouri, Meridian & Bigbee, Norfolk Southern, Conrail, Amtrak, UP Steam, Grand Trunk Western, Burlington Northern and a few other shortlines. The footage was taken in the following states: Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, Illinois, Louisiana, and Kentucky. Lots of non stop action and variety is the best way to describe this video. | 2002 was a very good year of railfaning for us at RRV. We shot over 12 hours of footage and it was clear that there was no way that we could get all of the best scenes into 1 two hour program. It became obvious that what we needed to do was split the year in half and offer to our customers a 2 part program with over 4 hours of great railroad action. The result is the two great tapes below offered as a set or individually!! |

REDEKER RAILFAN JOURNEYS 2002 PART ONE Part One begins in December of 2001 where our 2001 video finished. We catch the UP Olympic Torch train in Arkansas. We spend a day at the busy BNSF/UP diamond in Hoxie Ark. Catch action on the KCS Transcon line in and around Vicksburg, MS. Catch plenty of KCS action on Rich Mountain at the Febuary Railfan gathering. Spend a great weekend railfaning the NS Rathole and CSX KD Sub in March. We try to keep up with the action on the CSX & NS at the Decatur Alabama Spring Railfan Hootanany. We catch the 2002 BNSF Employee Special several times on the Thayer Sub in June. Mixed in among all of these railfan trips is footage in and around our home base of Memphis, TN. Plenty of action on the IC, BNSF, CSX, UP, and NS lines. REDEKER RAILFAN JOURNEYS 2002 PART TWO Part Two begins in July of 2002 with a 4 day trip to Chicagoland. Captured footage of IHB, BNSF, UP, CN, NS,Amtrak, CP/SOO, CSX and Metra action. We catch action at the Decatur Alabama Fall Railfan Hootanany in both rain and sunshine. Catch plenty of IC detour action on the Memphis Riverfront line on two occasions in August. & November. Railfan the BNSF/UP lines near Chaffee MO. Then its back up North to Wisconsin and Illinois in October where we grab WC, CP/SOO, IMRL, W&S and Amtrak action. Its then over to KCS's Rich Mtn. for the Fall Foliage railfan gathering. Next is footage on CSX's Nashville-Chattanooga line in fall colors. In December we get a chance to Railfan the RJ Corman dinner train during a lunch run and our tape winds to a close with action on the CSX Nashville-Louisville line. All of which is mixied in with great footage of Memphis Area railroading. Footage taken in 10 states; Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Illinois, Indiana, & Wisconsin.
