Medical Statistics: Ongoing consulting projects with the Institute of Reproductive Medicine in Ulm, Germany, on methods to predict the success of assisted reproduction technologies and other related issues.

Drug Discovery: Development of sequential strategies to identify lead compounds in large chemical databases with minimal testing. Participation in a co-operation of the National Institute of Statistical Sciences with GlaxoWellcome in North-Carolina, USA.

1995 - 1997

Environmental Statistics: Development of cost-optimal prediction and design strategies for the cleanup of environmental waste sites. Co-operation with the Environmental Protection Agency in Las Vegas, USA.
Joint work with Professor Dr. William J. Welch.

1986 - 1987

Quality Control: Introduction of Taguchi's off-line and on-line quality control principles at the car supplies manufacturer Bosch in Blaichach, Germany. Statistical design, realization, and analysis of an experiment to improve the quality of pressure governors used in electronic fuel injection.
