| Our sheep are a breed called Romanov, which is know for producing virtual "litters" of sheep (up to 9!). We only have 2 (pic above is a stock photo from web) named Norman and (we couldn't resist) Ewe-lah. They're a sweet couple who we hope will produce lambs. We had three adult goats that were soon followed by three babies. We soon found them to be aggressive with the goats and we didn't really have the resources to build an even bigger operation to seperate them... so... we had to find new homes for all the goats. We've added a new sheep. We'll post a picture soon!. All-in-all the sheep are very sweet animals and little trouble to care for. Norman, the ram, is as loving and tame as any dog we've seen. |
