THE FARM REPORT!
or What's New in the Lives of Mark and Kevin...
Sheepishly Cute!
While we have enjoyed our little goat family somewhat, we eventually found them to be very disruptive... especially for the sheep who are such gentle creatures. We made the decision to find new homes for all. We have aquired a new sheep named Eunice. She is part Babydoll and part Jacobs sheep and is a beautiful chocolate brown. Shis about 7 months old.
Big as a PIG!
She's big... she's beautiful... and she's aaaalllll mine! That would be all 6 feet long and 631 lbs of her! My "Little Baby Girl" Hester (the pig) weighed in recently at a walloping weight that goes to prove that good things even come in BIG packages too! Our most recent discovery is that she goes crazy for marshmallows. But we DO watch how many we give her! They are a "treat" item only!
Talking Turkey
We acquired baby turkeys last summer that are growing up beautifully. We have 3 Bourben Red variety and 3 Royal Palm variety. We have more Toms than we would really like, so will either sell them or trade them out for more hens! We hope to have the hens serve as surrogate hatchers for peachicks!

Beach Bums!
We travelled to Florida for a vacation in October. We had a wonderful time and saw West Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, and Orlando.
Thankful Are We!-
Thanksgiving had our little home packed with lots of love. Matt and his family joined Kevin's mom and we all spent the weekend playing and eating.
