Marlborough Pride Neighborhood Association - Minutes November 8, 2001
President Bill Goff called the meeting to order at 6:35 P.M.
1. Attendance:
Six neighborhood residents were present.
2. Public Safety Update:
No report.
3. President's Report:

Old business
- MPNA needs a Treasurer.
- Dates for leaf and brush pick-up are designated in the water bill.
New business
- "Useful numbers" pamphlets were distributed.
- The effort must be made to obtain the support of local churches and businesses.
- Recipes for the newsletter are needed.
- MPNA could apply for grant money.
- He would like to get a tractor to mow lots with tall weeds and grass. The city would then be billed for the work and the money would go to MPNA.
- He would like to start a community garden.
- He asked that those in attendance invite neighbors to the meetings.
- In the coming months, if schools are closed due to inclement weather and we were to have a meeting, the meeting will be cancelled.
4. Approval of Minutes:
A motion was made and seconded to adopt the October minutes. The motion carried.
Having no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:10 P.M.
