Marlene McCarty is a freelance writer who writes on a variety of subjects including parenting, pets, history, and humour. She also enjoys writing fiction and poetry. Her work has appeared in various print and on-line magazines as well as in the Canadian anthologies Winners' Circle, WordScape: Mystery and Suspense, and Wynterblue Thunder magazine.
