Introduced in Feb. of 1965 the fastback Marlin was the most expencive Rambler of 1965 . Sales came to10,327 units.
The 1966 models are basicly the same.Some standard features from 65 was now options to lower the base price. This was done to try to increase sales. It did'nt work.. Sales fell to 4,547 units.Also the AMC name was used instead of Rambler.

The American based Tarpon  Show car. This car was the basis for the larger Marlin.
Wich was built on the Classic chasis.

Two shots of the 67 Marlin

The 67 Marlin is the rarest of the breed. The base was changed to the larger Ambasador .
Sales fell to only 2,545.
They are still quite atractive automobiles.
