overwhelms. . . . _Few sunrises are greeted as eagerly as those viewed through the eyes of love.
I myself am quite absorbed by the delicate yellow, delicate soft green, delicate violet of a ploughed and weeded piece of soil. . . . Each season has its joys to treasure, to lift one's spirits and bring
us pleasure. . . . Whoever loves and understands a garden will find contentment
within. . . . Be a gentle friend to trees and they will give you back beauty,
cool and fragrant shade, and many birds, singing. . . . it is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer's day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky is by no means a waste of time. . . . Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished. . . . In my garden, after a rainfall, you can faintly, yes, hear the breaking of new blooms. . . . The day, water, sun, moon, night - I do not have to purchase these things with money. . . . I am in love with the green earth. . . .
I think it annoys God if you walk by the color purple in a field and don't notice. . . . the best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is
to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple
beauty of nature. I firmly believe that nature brings solace in all troubles. . . .
Each season has its own wonder, it's own special place, and purpose in the pattern of creation.
