HALLOWEEN 2001
The DEATH CHAIR - No, I am not creative enough to come up with this stuff on my own.  I saw this on the MONSTERLIST and fell in love.  If you want to "do it yourself" the MONSTERLIST is the place to go.

This chair cost me about $10 to build, probably less.  They are building new homes in my area, so I wander over to the sites for lumber scraps.  I used the plastic "package" from a mask I bought last year as the mold for the skull which is paper mache'.  I covered the chair and skull with Monster Mud and used black paint and white stain for the streaks and cracks.   I'm sure before October I'll add some additional detail to the chair or maybe not.
CORPSES, MASKS, MISC. BODY PARTS - I used a combination of techniques described on the MONSTERLIST to make this stuff.
For the arms I used wire to make the basic shape of the hand/arm.  All of these items were created using the same basic supplies: Glue, some unrolled cotton balls and latex colored with latex or acrylic paint to build up the "flesh."   I used fake nails glue and/or nail polish for the finishing touches on the arms (red nail polish seems to work well for the wet bloody look.)    If you want them (or just about anything else for that matter) to glow under black light, RIT Laundry Treatment - Whitener & Brightener seems to do the trick.  Feel free to e-mail me with questions, comments or suggestions!
