Thanks for taking an interest in my writing portfolio for English 328. We had a few writing assignments; some of which I really enjoyed doing. However; regardless of how much I enjoyed or did not enjoy writing something; each writing sample was a learning experience and for that I am grateful. I hope you enjoy what I have here.

Invent Your Own Writing Technology Project-For this assignment, we had to come up with my own writing system without using the technologies that are so readily available in this day in age. It took me a while to think of something at first but I finally decided on using pomegranate seeds. I wish I still had my picture to show you, but it is temporaily misplaced. :)

Traditional versus Electronic Style Essay-For this assignment we had to compare and contrast the two books that we read in class. The books were written about a century apart so it was interesting to see the way people perceive writing now and how it was perceived years ago.

Online Community Discourse Assignment-For this assignment we were required to select and follow an online community through their daily conversations. It was very interesting to see how people focus or do not focus on their topics. The group I decided to follow was alt.fashion from the google network. It was pretty interesting; I enjoyed this assignment.

Personal/Professional Web Site Assignment-You are viewing part of this assignment right now! We had to create a web site and discuss this site and how it came to be what it is right now.

Collaborative Web Project-This is a site totally dedicated to already or soon to be teachers. These are a few sites that we selected that help teachers find jobs.
