Wow, did you expect an update, no, but a new comic in the span of a little under 24 hours?
There is a reason behind my madness, I assure you.

Last night I was enjoying my new videogame, Final Fantasy X. I played and played and I felt for the first time this summer that I was having fun with my PS2 again.

But who cares? It's not like my enjoyment really matters to you whatsoever, but as long as you get something in return, correct? Same goes for my misfortunes, right?

But let me first mention how terribly EXASPERATING a third party memory card is.

I guess you all know where I'm getting? If your head wasn't abruptly struck with a connection, my memory card failed to save the data because my memory card has become corrupted. And for you RPG players who know that it's extremely hard to "cheat" in Final Fantasy without a gameshark, the corrupted file wasn't due to cheats, but instead because the memory card might not have been correctly loaded, or some other cause beyond my knowledge..

Y'see, this
memory card requries a load disc to be loaded everytime and anytime you want to play a game, not turn on your PS2, but play any GAME. And the thing is, once you load the card, you kinda have to "wait" a bit before you can insert and start your desired game.

I guess I put in the Final Fantasy X disc in too fast due to my overwhelming excitment and joy. So when I finally decided to save.. whoopsiedoodle. My card became corrupted and I had to reformat my card. So I lost all my data, but it's not like I really play games I already beat, right? Well.. what about games I'm currently working on? Y'know.. Ace Combat 4, Gitaroo-Man, Vice City?

The thing is... this already happened to me shortly after I started FFX. I just turned the other cheek and started again, first with Gitaroo-Man. After I finished the normal mode, I decided I'll give my old-game-recovery a rest and reward myself with a few hours of FFX. Those few hours turned into six. I was currently unfathoming an interesting plot development as my Besaid Auroches played the Al Bhed team in a game of blitzball and decided to make a routine save. And thus it happened.. AGAIN!

You know the saying, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me"? Well, I'm working this friday. There will I go to Toys R Us or Futureshop and purchase a new "real" memory card for my saving needs. Until then, I'll hold tight and maybe think of new stuff for the site.

Until next time....
