It's the day before the weeked, prior to the dreaded Provincial Exam week. I apologize for not really having any updates on the site, but I hope you understand I've been swamped with things that've been consuming a lot of my time. Attempting to make my break from studying and moving productive, I started up my trusty old flash 5, and drew one of the two buster swords that will be shown in PROXY. PROXY itself is progressing slowly, and I'm almost done the second page, but the big appearance date will be around late August, after college registration and my so-called vacation. So here you go. I know it looks pretty plain, but today wasn't one of my creative days.

On the left is the buster sword, and on the right is the internal workings of it. It works somewhat like a chainsaw, and some parts are labelled. Too bad if you can't read it; I'm lazy.
By the bye, if you like punk with some synthesizers and other mixed stuff, get Reggie and the Full Effect.

Do it.

Another non-update, but I do have some ojstrip ideas. Those won't be coming out until later in the summer when the dust settles, and I'm bored once more. Speaking of comics, PROXY is now on page three, and as I plan out the whole thing, I'm feeling a bit intimidated. During a break from loading and unloading boxes of my crap, I drafted up Daniel's bustersword. It's not as complex as Ferdinands, being the latter required many gears and the like, while the former makes use of a simple hydraulic system. I guess you don't really have to get it; maybe the only thing that matters is that you think it's cool. But as for me, I like to know, or at least believe, these things work, or have the potential to work. On the left is how it looks like, and as you go right, you go deeper into the workings of it. The figure in green is a large blade, one on either side of the sword, that opens parallel to the sword, and slides backwards, or in this case, to the left. A hidden blade is then exposed, and is capable of cracking/splitting/whatever, with the hydraulic system. I guess just imagine the jaws of life, but with a dirtly sharp secret.
By the bye, if you like jazz, a bit of J-Pop, or just awesome music with a nice mix, get Yoko Kanno..

Do it.

PROXY is up. It wasn't supposed to be until August, but I made my account on keenspace to reserve the name and get everything ready. What I didn't know was that if I didn't upload comics and the like within a month, then they could shut it down. I know I could always register and everything again, but the process took two weeks, so I might as well not waste anymore of my time and get the three pages up. I know it has been a while since I've actually made the account (July 3rd or so), but I was preoccupied as usual, and it slipped my mind to mention it here. Athough it has appeared I'm neglecting this site over my recent undertakings, rest assured, more drivel will appear on this site. I've watched Ghost in the Shell Standalone Complex and Wolf's Rain, so I really hope to get reviews up for that, as well as some more write ups. Until then, "ooh" and "aah" at some semi-decent PROXY stuff..
