With little footsteps in the sand,
Ginny danced so long ago,
with flowers in her straw bonnet,
with her bright blue eyes all aglow.

Floating on down from the pier,
came the music of the carousel,
playing the Japanese Sandman,
a tune that little Ginny knew so well.
With little pirouettes she'd spin,
as gaily round and round she spun,
she hummed the tune as best she could,
dancing on sand, beneath the summer sun.
Little princess Ginny danced
beside her castles in the sand,
in that moment that was forever hers,
when she held the world, in her little hand.
