Sukie The Cat, Orange Eyed For Halloween Now Sukie the cat is well known for her eyes , so pretty and so  green, but she switches them to orange, once a year , just for Halloween. Each year, I carve a pumpkin, one that's  exactly the right size, so she can jump  in and hide in it, for a scary , Halloween surprise. At night, when trick or treaters, make their way up to our door, Sukie will pop her head out, and will make like a lion, and roar. The sight of those  orange eyes, like hot flames burning bright, have scared the  bee geebers, out of many a ghost, dressed in white. And Sukie , usually so shy, so sweet, bashful  and  serene, loves to hear the shrieks and cries, she causes on Halloween. When trick or treating ends, she's  in the garage until twelve, to scare any mouse who sneaks in, with her orange eyes, and lion yell. Last Halloween, she got a shock, she saw herself in a looking glass. Well, her fur stood straight up, and she was gone, away in a flash. . She had scared herself so bad, she ran quick to her hiding place, and she stayed there until morning, too scared until then, to show her  face.
