He came for me
silently
and He took me by the hand.
He spoke to me
tenderly
and made me understand.
He calmed my fears
instantly
and He told me of His plan.
He spoke to me
assuringly
about His promised land.
He lifted my spirit
easily
and left behind mortal man.
He welcomed me
joyfully
and my eternal life began.
