TENDING HIS GARDEN

I spend happy hours in the garden,
as I tend it to make it  right.
And though sometimes it may be hard,
I often work til day turns to night.

Now little things don't bother me,
like when wild with tame things grow,
for if they seem to like each other,
well then, I just simply  let them go.

Now this  doesn't suit everyone,
for some folks , it seems too wild.
But then, you can't please everyone,
so with those folks , I simply smile.

At times,  folks stop and tell me,
just how pretty are all my flowers.
And they rave about my roses and such,
for what seems to me like hours.

Though grateful I am for kind words,
I don't deserve their praise.
For these flowers aren't my flowers,
but His own that God just let me raise.
