| WHEN ALL YOU CAN DO IS CARE So many times I have stood by helpless, when a loved one had too much to bear. How many times I wanted so much, to do far more than just to show I care. If it were in my power, I would say, "Come ,leave your pain and grief with me. Take the day off and leave it all behind, My load's light today and my day is free." But, sadly, that is not the way things are, for if it were so, a child's pain would end. Just who wouldn't be glad to make it 'his', anything, to make a child well again? So now all I can do is say that I care. But, wait- there's something more I can do.
