I Come "As Is" Fair lady , may I remind you, I am ready to wear, straight off the rack. So, if you are thinking alterations, for your own sake, better just put me back. Is that a glint I see in your eyes, and are those scissors in your hand? For a woman with cutting on her mind is cause for alarm, just ask any man. Do you think that you will hem me in, after you cut me down to size? You will take me in here and let me out there, until there is nothing left that I recognize. Well, think again, my fair lady, I am not cut out for tailored and smart. I 'm hardly Calvin Klein or Ralph Lauren, more like bargain basement or Wally Mart. And that tag you see dangling there, reads "AS IS"- as plain as plain can be. For I come ready made right off the rack, with no return and with no warranty. So you can stuff your pins and needles, and can the plans to re design me, This guy is made of such unwieldly cloth, I am better off left just as you find me. Copyright 2001 by Roland Ricker |
