THE LIGHT WILL LEAD YOU HOME There you are alone, so far out to sea, in deadly waters, far from the shore. Not certain of just what lies ahead, whether you'll see home, once more. The sea is choppy and rough, it's true, you're rocked about, by the churning surf. So stung by the salt in endless spray, you hold on bravely, for all your worth. Hold fast, for a light will guide you in, as sure as night gives way to sunrise, it will shine through the fog and mist, to lead you home, right before your eyes. The sea will be calm again, wait and see, with you on course, once more my friend. Just follow the light ,home's straight ahead, with friends beside you, at journey's end. copyright 2001 by Roland Ricker |
