Lord, Keep Our Children Safe, We Pray Lord, there is a darkness in this land we hold so dear, which blots out even daylight that makes us live in fear. There seem no safe boundaries, once safe havens are no more. And our children face dangers unlike any they faced before. So, God, please send Your angels to watch over our children here, to guide and protect them, Lord, from the darkness we've come to fear. And help us, Lord, we pray to find ways to restore sanity. In these so-called best of times, we live in such dire uncertainty. There seem scant earthly solutions, as we hear experts so often say. So we need You, our Precious Lord, as always, to show us the way. But, above all else, Lord, protect each blessed child today.
