O Hosanna, Christ Is Risen! Sun's golden light cracks, then opens wide the morning sky. The lilies of the field stir, as doves on wing go flying by. The Lord awakes, He is risen, hear the joyful music start, O hosanna, O hosanna, as resounds His beating heart. Christ is returned to us. from out of the darkness, He is here. O Risen Christ, haloed thus by morning light, does He appear. Come praise the Lamb of God, through Him, now ends man's darkest night.
