| LORD, SEND ME YOUR MIGHTIEST ANGEL Lord, send me Your mightiest angel, one who is strong and broad of wing, to watch over my precious child, as the long, dark night begins. Let him be a shield against danger, so my little one's safe from harm, safe throughout the long, dark night, cradled warm in his angel arms. May he hum a quiet lullaby in a sweet and peaceful hum, while he stands his tender watch, keeping from harm , my precious one. And in the darkness, may his light, shine with a light so soft and low, that my child, if awakened by fear, is calmed by his comforting glow.
