| Make Up Policy: Students will be allowed to make up homework, exams, & quizzes for excused absences only. The student must present the teacher a note signed by the parent and stamped by the attendance office. It is the student's responsibility to determine what they have missed. Students have three days to make up the work; if it is not fully completed, it will be recorded as a zero. |
| Student responsibilities 1. Arrive to class on time 2. Wear school ID 3. Bring materials to class 4. Raise your hand to participate 5. Listen & follow directions 6. Remain on task and be attentive 7. Refrain from offensive language 8. Be respectful of school properties 9. No food, gum or drink in class 10. Leave after the bell rings |

| Grading Scale: A 100-90 B 89-80 C 79-70 D 69-60 F 59 & below |
| Honors Grading Scale: A 100-92 B 91-83 C 82-71 D 70-64 F 63 & below |
| Quarter Grade: 35% exam/quiz 20% portfolio 20% homework 25% participation/oral |
| Semester Grade: 40% first 40% second 20% final exam |
| Exams & Quizzes: quiz is at the end of each lesson. Exam is at the end of each unit. Portfolio: A collection of all student work. It is divided into 3 sections: 1. Bell ringers, 2. Homework & 3. Everything else in chronological order: worksheets, notes, activities, projects, & class work Homework: Daily homework is given. It is to be completed by the start of class on the following day. It is worth 10 points. It can be turned in one day late for 5 points at the beginning of class Classroom Participation: Students are encouraged to join in the class activities. Asking and answering questions in Spanish are expected. Behavior, participation, and attendance affect the student's grade. Bell ringers are everyday and worth 10 points. Orals are given with each lesson as well. |
