Book 50-The Ultimate

Jake hasn't been the same since.  He blames himself.  Yeah, he goes
through the motions.  But it's like he's lost the spark.  Lost whatever it was that kept him going.  That kept us going.
--Cassie

"Yep.  I reckon you're right."
"Huh?"
"I didn't really just say that.  Did I?"
--Marco, Cassie

"What do they want?  These Yeerks.  What can we give them that
would satisfy them?"
"Our souls.  If they don't already have them."
--Walter, Jake

"We can't go on like this."
"Now there's a profound statement."
--Jake, Marco

"I've never stolen a bike.  Any suggestions?"
"What makes you think I know how to steal a bike?  However, I would suggest we, er, just pick three unlocked bikes and casually ride away."
--Jake, Marco

"I feel stupid."
"You look stupid."
--Marco, Cassie

"Don't get too attached.  Life is probably going to be a lot shorter than you thought it would be."
"You know what, Jake?  You don't have to remind me about that."
"Sorry."
"It's okay, dude.  It gets to us all."
--Jake, Marco

"They won't make it, James.  They can't."
"Watch us."
--Cassie, James

I would go back in.  I would fight to the finish.  No matter what, I'd fight with Jake.
